4 home furnishings companies earn People’s Choice honors in Vegas
The Las Vegas Market announced five products as People’s Choice award winners in its Summer 2022 Market Snapshot contest. The Henning collection by Fusion Designs and the Camilla fossilized clam console table by Palecek tied for first place in the furniture category. The Frida table planter by Deconcepto won for home decor and a lighting pendant by Shaaksaz Willow Wicker Craft Producer Co. Ltd./Kadam Haat was chosen as the winner from among the gift and home temporary exhibits. Maya J was honored in the gift category for a Bracelet hair tie. The show, which opened July 24, runs through July 28.
“The Summer 2022 Market Snapshot winners emphasize the comprehensive range of product offered at Las Vegas Market,” said Dorothy Belshaw, International Market Centers executive vice president and chief marketing officer, in a news release. “With winners including bespoke furniture and pieces made by international artisans to eco-friendly decor and creative fashion accessories, Las Vegas Market attendees have identified that they are looking to source a diverse product this summer. We congratulate the winners.”

- The Henning collection from Fusion Designs is a group of customizable and built-to-order furniture. The Henning table has a 1-inch-thick, egg-shaped top, wood geared slides and mission-edge profile. It’s available in 42″ × 54″ and 48″ × 54″ sizes. The collection also includes a side chair and bench. Shown in Brown Maple, it’s available in five additional finishes.
- Palecek’s Camilla table features an inlaid fossilized clam shell top on a stonecast base made from a natural tree trunk mold. It is finished in warm cream tones.
- Deconcepto’s Frida table planter with saucer is made of high-quality fiberglass to endure harsh outdoor conditions. Crafted in Mexico, it’s available in black and white finishes.
- This open lattice weave pendant lighting fixture is available in three sizes. The basket materials are 100% biodegradable and are made from wood sourced from nontimber forests. The pendants produced by Shaaksaz Willow Wicker Craft Producer Co. Ltd., which was incorporated by Kadam Haat, an organization that develops rural communities to encourage basket making in India.
