Fernando Rodriguez Studio, based in San Juan, Puerto Rico, with offices in New York City, has unveiled a new look and a new website FRodriguezStudio.com that celebrates the multidisciplinary firm’s passion for color and detail and its expertise in interior design with expanded offerings in branding and art direction.
The site’s iconic opening of a 19th-century French painting of a woman emphasizes the firm’s sensitive, romantic approach balanced with an appreciation of contemporary possibilities, according to a news release.
Fernando Rodriguez, founder and creative director of the firm, is a native of Puerto Rico, who began his career in the fashion industry in New York City. He has since cultivated an interiors portfolio marked by boundless passion and forward-thinking vision. He and his team’s projects include everything from an Old San Juan restoration and a suite for the king and queen of Spain to the sleekest new penthouses.
Rodriguez believes in a turnkey approach and not only masters the interior design of a project and bespoke custom furniture, but also branding and art direction where required, something he has been embracing of late.
He is currently collaborating with developers on new properties in San Juan, which is experiencing a luxury boom with a number of prestigious high rises in the works. There he is putting his talents to work on the interior design, as well as the overall aesthetic of the properties. “Fashion, art, color and our rich heritage inform all of our work around the globe, with our clients bringing their unique perspectives,” Rodriguez said.
