Casual Market showcasing plenty of hot products

From daybeds to umbrellas to new performance fabrics, there will be no shortage of innovative outdoor products at this week’s Casual Market Chicago, which opened Tuesday, July 19, and runs through Friday, July 22.

Here are a few of the highlights buyers can see as the International Casual Furnishings Association holds its final show at Chicago’s Merchandise Mart.

Alfresco Home’s Robinson adjustable loveseat/daybed boasts a European-inspired design and is manufactured from Indonesian teak. The piece has three reclining positions (plus flat) and a coordinating dual-use coffee table/ottoman. (Casual Market Chicago, Merchandise Mart, Showroom 16-120)

Lloyd Flanders’ Solstice chair features clean lines, a high back and a sleek frame that enhances the European-inspired design. It’s now available in metallic gold and metallic silver finishes. (Showroom 1473)

It’s silhouette originating in 16th-century France, Mamagreen’s Ohana balloon lounge chair has been updated with a 21st-century twist. Featuring a sturdy powder-coated frame wrapped in a meticulously handwoven and knotted olefin rope, it comes in eight colors. (Showroom 1586)

Milliken & Co. is introducing the debut design in its first outdoor fabric line, New Vistas. The collection of 100% solution-dyed acrylic fabrics includes 10 patterns across 72 SKUs. The company says the fabrics are in-stock and ready to ship from its facility in South Carolina. (Showroom 7-8053)

OW Lee’s new padded sling offers durability with the added comfort of Dacron fiber padding. Available in 15 sling colors and all OW Lee fabric options. (Showroom 1572)

Outdura’s Virage collection features easy-care 100% solution-dyed acrylic fabrics in jacquards, textured dobbies and stripes in four distinct statements. Be Bold plays with the contrasts of confident, daring patterns and textures; Escape celebrates the neutrals and subtler shades and surfaces found in nature; Digital has vibrant and optimistic shapes and colors; and Tranquil offers refreshing hues inspired by global waters. Plank & Hide’s Delano chair puts a contemporary twist on a traditional design. Attractive and fresh for a wide range of buyers, the piece is made with powder-coated aluminum and boasts a 1.5-inch tubular and rounded frame with a 6-inch solution-dyed acrylic seat cushion. It’s available in a Slate Gray or Polar White finish. (Showroom 1646)

Polywood’s Latitude dining set intersects form and function in every carefully crafted detail. Clean, horizontal lines and sharp angles create bold shapes, while the spacious frames lend a balanced yet striking aesthetic that makes any outdoor space feel open and inviting. (Showroom 15-105)

Making its formal debut at the Casual Market, Perspectives is a bold and bright new collection from Sunbrella that merges real nostalgia with modern sensibilities. Motifs come to life through dimensional texture, carefully considered color arrangements and woven effects. Shown here is Clock Out, a pattern that creates the feeling of subtle, graceful movement with a two-color graphic and chambray-like weave structure. (Showroom 15-110)

For 2023, Treasure Garden is introducing the Solaris under its Shademaker collection. The Solaris side post umbrella boasts modern elegance, with its curved lines and soft edges. Inspired by the larger size Polaris, the Solaris impresses in function with an effortless crank to open and infinite tilt function. (Showroom 1655)

An ode to the freedom and relaxation of sailing, Castelle’s Korda collection combines a breezy silhouette with traditional styling. The collection’s visual centerpiece is an eye-catching hand-painted decorative cast aluminum back insert that simulates authentic nautical rope. (Showroom 1576)

Three Birds Casual is offering a Bella deep seating group in gray that includes two-seater sofa, three-seater sofa, armchair, swivel rocker, ottoman and full sectional. The group is built with handwoven synthetic wicker wrapped around an aluminum frame. (Showroom 15-100)

Vanguard Furniture’s outdoor line will be on display at the Casual Market for the first time after launching in High Point in April. The line brings Vanguard’s high-style indoor aesthetics to the outdoors with premium materials made to withstand the elements. (Showroom 1556)

Woodard’s Latitude collection gets its strength and durability from the design’s external structure, which is shaped by an iron rod. The seating is wide and spacious, allowing users to sit back and relax. (Showroom 1534)

Informed by midcentury design, Sunset West‘s Sabbia barstool incorporates the best of classic proportions with modern materials. Inspired by the subtle tones of natural stone, this piece is rendered in satin-finish white aluminum with natural-colored all-weather rope. It features a rounded tube frame and a mid-rise back that is perfectly scaled for smaller spaces. (Showroom 15-102)

The Montauk collection by Kingsley Bate is made from solid, distressed teak wood in a new Vintage finish. The group includes a sofa, lounge chair and ottoman. (Showroom 1581)
