Jamie Merida gives sneak peek of intros for Chelsea House
Retailer and designer Jamie Merida is giving a sneak peek of a few of the product introductions he’ll debut with home furnishings source Chelsea House during the High Point Market, April 22-26.
The Bolton writing desk is a fresh take on the classic Chippendale motif. The desk is a white painted wood table with a Chippendale trellis pattern and glass top.
Old meets new in Merida’s Chinoiserie console table. Merida says was inspired by the antique Asian panels he saw on his travels, using that idea to create a console table that stands on a contemporary gold-tone base. He designed the panels in two colorways: white and gold, or black and gold.
Inspired by Merida’s love of the American coast and his home on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, Merida’s ceramic Sea Urchin garden seat, finished in a blue glaze, is designed for indoor and outdoor spaces. Merida’s signature cascading pearls add a punch of texture and interest.
The first Jamie Merida Collection for Chelsea House line launched in 2017. Jamie Merida Interiors family of brands includes a trio of retail outlets and firms in Easton, Maryland: Bountiful Home, an award-winning retailer of furnishings, home accents, gifts, one-of-a-kind antiques, handcrafted items, custom framing and Hunter Douglas window treatments; Bountiful Flooring, which offers flooring, carpet, stone, tile and custom cut-to-fit carpeting; and Bountiful Kitchen & Bath, a full-service kitchen and bath renovation firm.
