Sneak peek: New accessories you can see at the October market

Accessories sources are promising extensive rollouts of new rugs, wall art, lighting and other home decor — all those finishing touches that add depth and warmth to make a room complete. Here’s a glimpse of some of what you’ll see at the High Point Market Oct. 22-26.

Shaped from traditional Talavera pottery, dozens of ceramic discs in a Speckled Cream finish dangle from this geometric wall piece. From Four Hands, it will add texture and dimension to any space. The wall hanging retails for $265. (Showplace, 4101, Floor 4)

Jaipur Living is unveiling a host of new products to celebrate the opening of its new showroom in the Commerce & Design building. Among them is the Genesis rug collection, which features an assortment of hand-tufted rugs great for any contemporary home. Genesis rugs blend lustrous viscose with natural wool fibers for a plush, ultra-soft feel. Capel Rugs is introducing a new custom program for select models in its Metropolis collection of machine-made, pure New Zealand wool rugs, offering five options: Mirage in a Cream colorway, Skyline in Slate and Cream, and Victoria in Indigo and Oyster. The company can produce a maximum width of 13’1’’ and nearly any length, with a three-week production time. Capel requests a minimum order size of 24 square feet. (Market Square, 112, Floor 1)

The perfect fit for any home that pairs modern and traditional styles, the Hattie mini-lamp from Regina Andrew Detroit has a sleek silhouette and rustic charm. The concrete orb base is topped with a dramatic cylinder shade made of natural brass. (IHFC, IH006, Commerce, Floor 1)

This Ardmore ceramic Leopard Lights lamp encircled by fantastical beasts and foliage is part of a new Ngala Bespoke collection, a line of handcrafted, limited-edition pieces sourced in South Africa. A pair of lamps retails for $3,995. The company says Ardmore ceramics are now exclusively available in North America through Ngala Trading. (Suites At Market Square, G7015, Ground)

Fatboy USA’s Color Blend Petit rug, designed by Carole Baijings, is available in Fuchsia and Charcoal (shown) colorways. It is sized 90.5” x 63” and retails for $349. Allyson Monson Fine Art Photography is making its debut at the Suites of Market Square. She explains her photo Glow Words: “There are times when I don’t have my camera with me and I see something that I know I have to shoot. Such is the case with Glow Words. The glow of these books was beyond amazing. Unique Loom is debuting several new collections, including Lariat, a group of hand-braided jute and wool rugs. Lariat rugs are available in a variety of colors, including Sunshine Yellow, Hunter Green, Gray, Navy, Blush, Ivory and Natural, and in 4’x6’ and 8’x10’ sizes. (Market Square, 240, Floor 2)

The Spazio lamp offers futuristic appeal with Firenze crystal saucers set in an oval atop a slender column of polished chrome and a marble base. It’s part of the Portables collection of LED table and floor lamps from Allegri Crystal by Kalco Lighting. (IHFC, H232, Hamilton, Floor 2)
