Style points: High Point introductions you might have missed

Retail buyers and designers who ventured to the High Point Market April 2-6, know there was a bounty of product introductions to see. So much great new product. Despite your market plan and good walking shoes, you probably missed a few showrooms. We’ve got you covered with some style highlights you might not have seen.

Corbett Lighting introduced its third collection with designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard, with fixtures grouped into five silhouettes: Jackstone, Astra, Trobicale, Max and Aries (shown). The Kobe wing swivel from Dallas-based American Leather is a modern, sculptured silhouette with intentionally exaggerated shape. A modern take on a classic wing chair, Kobe makes an impactful statement in any room, alone or next to a sofa. This credenza, with plank shelving and an Avalanche finish is part of Big Sky, a 60-piece collection designed to evoke the beauty of the American wilderness. The collection has two distinct personalities: one more rustic and one more modern, as represented by the versatile credenza, which works in a dining room or other living space that requires stylish extra storage. The company, based in Martinsville, Virginia, also introduced the 50-piece Santorini collection, which takes its cues from the grace and classism of Greek architecture and the Mediterranean Sea. The simply classic Kadon swivel chair from Austin, Texas-based Four Hands features a high wing back and softly rolled arms for a curvy look and supportive sit. It is upholstered in a camel-colored shearling and has a 360-degree swivel. It retails for $1,299. FourHands.com

This handcrafted, shallow ceramic bowl from Detroit-based Regina Andrew Detroit is encrusted with disc-like details for deep texture. A functional work of art, the bowl is ideal as a catchall in an entry, fresh fruit in a kitchen or as a statement piece on an occasional table. The Secret Garden chandelier from Schonbek draws inspiration from the serenity of the natural world, with crystal buds that “grow” organically from an elegant bramble. The bold, geometric Simone credenza by Carmeon Hamilton is part of The Voice collection from Miami-based TOV Furniture, featuring modern, playful, fresh designs from six Black interior designers. Hamilton drew on major events in life as a designer to create the Simone, as well as the Adu chest and Etta side and coffee tables she designed. Bellini Modern Living, based in Richmond Hill, Ontario, introduced five groups of table trios, available in various heights and shapes. An extension of ceramic-topped dining tables that have been part of the company’s line for nine years, the ceramic-topped occasional tables are designed to be sold in groups of three or separately, and retail from $799 to $1,199.
